With the protocol signed between the Ministry of Health and the Council of Higher Education on 22.11.1997, our faculty started education activities in the Nursing Department with 31 students as Health Vocational School in 1999-2000 academic year in Çankırı Health Vocational High School building. It has been affiliated to Çankırı Karatekin University in accordance with the law on the organization of higher education institutions dated 17.05.2007 and numbered 5662 and the decree having the force of law about the staff of the teaching staff of higher education institutions and the law on the amendment of the charts attached to the statutory decree about the general staff and its procedure. With the decision number 2016/9007 published in the Official Gazette dated 05 August 2016 and numbered 29792, the School of Health was closed and the Faculty of Health Sciences was established.
